Surat Bay is the perfect location from which to explore this vast area of wildlife and coast. Sea lions are easy to spot along the nearby beach most of the year, or you can just relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Perfect place to relax after exploring the Catlins. Jane was awesome. Location was so quiet and close to the beach. wish we had more time to stay there.
